Use Drill Across Properties to identify the table section that contains the source and target mappings, and to identify which columns contain the required information.
If the dashboards are located together in one folder, then the Target Path column can be set to null. However, the null column must be identified in Drill Across Properties.
To use the Drill Across properties frame:
In Interactive Reporting Studio , open a dashboard that contains the Drill Across component.
For example, open Sales Dashboard_esm.bqy or Costs Dashboard_esm.bqy located in the components folder with this installation.
Navigate to Drill Across Properties.
To access the configuration frame, use Sections or the Configuration drop-down list found in Dashboard Studio.
From Drill Sources and Target Definitions Table, select a table.
For example, select IDC Table.
In Source Mappings, perform these actions:
From Documents List Column, select a source document
From Pivot Sections List Column, select a source section
In Target Mappings, perform these actions:
From Path List Column, select a target path
From Documents List Columns, select a target document
From Target Query Names Column, select a target query
From Sections List Column, select a target section
From Target Labels Column, select a target label
From Target Service Names Column, select a target service key
Perform an action:
To discard drill across source and target mappings and reload the original settings, click Restore
To remove selected mappings, click Clear
To load selected mappings, click Apply
From Sections, select the dashboard frame, and use the Drilling Operations instructions to drill across.
