Creating Import and Export Maps

  To create EPM System import or export maps:

1. Open an entity.

   See Opening Entities.

2. Access Map Manager and select a map type.

   See Working with Import and Export Maps.

3. Click Create.

4. In New Map, enter a unique name.

5. Optional: To base the map on another, select Copy of Map, and select a map.

6. Click OK.

7. In Maps, select the map and click Check Out.

8. Select a server, application, and database.

   • For Financial Management, see Selecting Financial Management Servers, Applications, and Databases.

9. Map dimensions.

   See Mapping Import and Export Dimensions.

10. Map common dimensions.

    See Mapping Import and Export Common Dimensions.

11. Map accounts.

    See Mapping Import and Export Accounts.

12. Map time periods.

    See Mapping Import and Export Time Periods.

13. Map scenarios.

    See Mapping Import and Export Scenarios.

14. Click OK.
