Export Preferences

Note:

Changes to the default settings in the Export tab take effect in the next report created, they do not affect the current report.

Preference	Description
Numeric Column Delimiter	Delimiter used for numerical data.
Text Column Delimiter	Delimiter used for text.
Separator	Character used to separate data.
Fixed Length Columns	Indicates whether the columns are a fixed length.
One Column Per Line	Indicates whether there is one column per line.
Limit to	Limits the number of rows displayed when previewing the Export report. This option does not analyze the output from the database to determine if a delimiter is also used as a character of data, so you should choose your delimiters carefully. SQR Production Reporting Studio allows the following character sequences for the Numeric Column Delimiter, Text Column Delimiter, and Separator fields: A single alphanumeric The caret (^) followed by one of the following characters: Character Description Output as A-Z Alphabetic 001-026 [ Left bracket 027 ] Right bracket 029 \ Backslash 028 ^ Caret 030 _ Underscore 031 ?
