(13475270) Facet trail works incorrectly if facet values contain special characters.
Avoid using the following characters in the values of your facets:
| $ :
Each of these characters has special meaning in the facet trail, so including any of them in a facet value will cause the facet trail to be interpreted incorrectly.
(13721429) Users cannot add search configurations to a search configuration folder if content varies by user segment and the folder already contains a search configuration for the All Others segment option. For example, suppose a user creates search configurations for all available segments, including All Others. If the user then adds a new segment to segment list, no search configurations can be created for the new segment.
Workaround: Create search configurations in a specific order if you want search configurations for all segments in the segment drop down. First, create search configurations for all segments in the drop down and then create a search configuration for the All Others segment. Alternately, to add a search configuration to a search configuration folder that contains a search configuration that uses the All Others segment:
Edit the search configuration that uses the All Others segment so that it uses a different segment.
Create a new search configuration.
Edit the search configuration from step 1 so that it uses the All Others segment again.
(13320172) Avoid using dates (such as a product’s start date) as excluded or specified faceting property values. Because of differences in the ways Merchandising and Search calculate dates, timestamps may not match and the facets will not work as expected.
(13318072) Search configuration user segments whose Exclude rules contain “is before” and “is after” do not work as expected.
(13277874) Facets with dynamic selections based on a date property might have more than one selection range for the same date.
Date properties store exact times, so if several items in search results have a value set to different times on the same date, those items could fall into more than one facet selection, all of which are labeled with the same date.
(13304248) Deployed changes made to segments are not applied to the Search Merchandising Segment List page, Search Configurations tree, or Search Testing pages.
Workaround: Manually replace the updated segments by removing and then reselecting them in the appropriate Search Merchandising or Search Testing UI.
(13297184) If a Search Merchandising rule includes date-based expressions (such as “is before” or “is after”) but no date specified for a product or SKU, then the UNIX start date of 12/31/69 is used.
(13302321) For product catalogs indexed by SKU that do not enable grouping, Search Test results include product names and product IDs.
Workaround: When creating the Search Test, select the Results list option View Sub-items.
