Issue:
During a Windows operating system installation, if the user does not install the Oracle Hardware Management Pack, the Device Manager reports that the virtual Ethernet device is not installed.
Affected software:
Windows Server 2008 SP2
Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1
Windows Server 2012 and 2012 R2

Workaround:
To obtain this driver, install Oracle Hardware Management Pack, which is available as a supplemental tool on Oracle System Assistant (default).
To disable this device and prevent it from appearing in the Windows Device Manager, use the ilomconfig disable interconnect command. If you have not installed Oracle Hardware Management Pack, you need to install it in order to get the ilomconfig CLI tool. Alternatively, you can disable this device using the Oracle Integrated Lights Out Manager (ILOM) web interface.
