Uninstalling the Host Drivers

If Oracle Virtual Networking host drivers for Oracle Solaris are installed, and you need to completely uninstall them, you can do so by using the pkg remove command. When you remove the host drivers, all Oracle Virtual Networking functionality is no longer supported on the Oracle Solaris server.

Note -  Starting with Oracle Solaris 11.3, the host drivers are integrated into the kernel. Therefore, the procedure for uninstalling the host drivers for Oracle Solaris 11.3 host varies from the other Oracle Solaris releases. For information, see Install Host Drivers for Oracle Solaris 11.3.

These topics describe the process of uninstalling the host drivers.
