scds_restart_rg(3HA)

Name

scds_restart_rg - restart a resource group

Synopsis

cc [flags…] –I /usr/cluster/include file –L /usr/cluster/lib 
     –l dsdev#include <rgm/libdsdev.h>
     scha_err_t scds_restart_rg(scds_handle_t handle);

Description

The scds_restart_rg() function performs an scha_control(3HA) SCHA_RESTART operation on the resource group containing the resource passed to the calling program. Call this function from the fault monitor.

When this function succeeds, it does not return. Therefore, treat this function as the last piece of code to be executed in the calling program.

Parameters

The following parameters are supported:

handle

The handle returned from scds_initialize(3HA)

Return Values

The scds_restart_rg() function returns the following:

0

The function succeeded.

nonzero

The function failed.

Errors

SCHA_ERR_NOERR

Function succeeded.
