To add visual impact to your web page, you can insert a horizontal line that can span the entire width of the page to separate content in the page.

Note: You can use a style sheet to change the settings for the default horizontal line or create styles for additional lines with varying appearance. Using the controls in the style sheet, you can set the width (length), height (thickness), and color of the line, and the spacing before and after the line. See Format Horizontal Line Styles in the Format Styles section of the Create Styles to Format Content chapter for more information about creating horizontal line styles.

To insert a horizontal line: 

1. Select the location in the web page to insert the horizontal line.
    
2. On the Web Page Editor - Insert toolbar, click  Insert Horizontal Line.
