The InfiniBand network is internal to the Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance X3-2. You should not create additional connections to this network.
InfiniBand bonded interfaces are the default channel of communication among compute nodes and storage server heads. If you are connecting Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance X3-2 to existing or additional storage machines on the same InfiniBand fabric, the interface enables communication between Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance X3-2 and the storage machines.
Table A.3 lists the default InfiniBand Bonded IP addresses assigned to compute nodes and other hardware components in Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance X3-2.
