Using Search Modes

By default, search operations built on top of the Oracle Endeca Server return results that contain text matching all user search terms. In other words, search is conjunctive by default. However, in some cases a less restrictive matching is desirable, so that results are returned that contain fewer user search terms. This section describes the available search modes for record search and value search operations.
