この項では、構成ファイルとそのデフォルトの場所のリストを示します。また、システムにインストールされているデフォルトの構成ファイルのサンプルも紹介します。デフォルト値の中には、場所やパスのように変更できるものもあります。
表C-1は、UNIXでのForms構成ファイルのデフォルトの場所を示しています。Windowsでも、これらのファイルの場所はほぼ同じです。

Formsのインストールおよび構成中に、Oracle Universal Installerによってシステムに2つのベースHTMLファイルが作成されます。ほとんどの場合、これらのファイルを変更する必要はありません。これらのファイルを変更する必要がある場合は、独自のバージョンを作成し、これをformsweb.cfgファイルから参照する必要があります。デフォルトのファイルは、パッチのインストールによって上書きされます。
ユーザーが最初にOracle Formsアプリケーションを起動すると(アプリケーションのURLへのリンクをクリックすることで)、ベースHTMLファイルがFormsサーブレットによって読み取られます。
ベースHTMLファイル内の変数(%variablename%)は、第4.2項「Forms Servicesの構成」で説明されているようにformsweb.cfgファイルに指定された適切なパラメータ値によって置換され、URLリクエストがある場合はその問合せパラメータの値によって置換されます。問合せパラメータの値は、formsweb.cfgファイル内の値を上書きします。
次に、ベースHTMLファイルがユーザーのWebブラウザにダウンロードされます。
次のベースHTML開始ファイルが$ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/FormsComponent/forms/server/ディレクトリに格納されます。
basejpi.htm: Java Plug-In用のベースHTMLファイル。クライアントのブラウザがWindows上で動作している場合、Formsサーブレットではこのデフォルト・ファイルを使用します。
base.htm: AppletViewerでFormsアプレットを実行するために必要なAPPLETタグを記述したベースHTMLファイル。または、Oracle Formsで動作確認済のネイティブJVMでオラクル社が動作確認済の任意のWebブラウザで、Formsアプレットを実行するために必要なAPPLETタグを記述したベースHTMLファイル。例は、「デフォルトのbase.htmファイル」を参照してください。
$ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/FormsComponent/forms/server/ディレクトリにある開始ファイルbasejpi.htmまたはbase.htmをコピーします。
ファイル名を変更します(たとえば、order.htm)。
ユーザーに表示されるテキストを追加または変更します(たとえば、<TITLE>タグおよび<BODY>タグ内のテキスト)。
必要に応じてパラメータを変更します。ベースHTMLファイルの変数を使用し、「formsweb.cfg」で説明されているように、formsweb.cfgファイルの実際の値を指定します。
ベースHTMLのタグも固有の名前の付いた構成セクションで設定でき、システムのデフォルト値を上書きできます。これは、個別のカスタム・ベースHTMLテンプレートを使用する必要がある場合にお薦めします。ただし、カスタム・テンプレートをすべてのアプリケーションに使用する場合は、formsweb.cfgファイルのデフォルトの構成セクションを変更することをお薦めします。
新しいベースHTMLファイルを$ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/FormsComponent/forms/server/ディレクトリに置き、この新しいベースHTMLファイルを指すようにformsweb.cfgファイルのbaseHTMLパラメータとbaseHTMLjpiパラメータを更新します。
base.htmまたはbasejpi.htmファイルで提供されるパラメータ・タグを使用しない場合は、ファイルから削除してください。
残りのパラメータ値を変数(%variablename%)としてベースHTMLファイルで指定することをお薦めします。例:

次に、formsweb.cfgファイルに実際のパラメータ値を指定します。すべての変数が実行時に適切なパラメータ値で置き換えられます。
変数の値は、ベースHTMLファイル内のどこでも使用できます。変数は特別のデリミタで囲まれた名前として指定されます(デフォルトのデリミタは%)。たとえば、HTMLファイルに次の行を置くことができます。
ARCHIVE="%Archive%"%Archive%に割り当てる必要があります。すべての変数は実行時に値を受け取る必要があります。変数が値を受け取らないと、Forms ServicesがユーザーのWebブラウザに渡す適切なHTMLファイルを構築できないため、エラーが発生します。
パフォーマンスを向上するには、JARファイルのダウンロード用のソースとして1つのWebサーバーのみを使用してください。同じファイルを異なるサーバーから複数回ダウンロードすることを防げます。

Oracle Fusion MiddlewareのインストールでOracle Formsを正しく実行できない場合、セキュリティ上の理由から通常は使用できないようになっているテスト・オプションを使用可能にすると役立つ場合があります。このオプションを使用するには、web.xmlファイルを編集してfrmservletのtestModeパラメータをtrueに設定します。次にWebサーバー(またはOracle WebLogic管理対象サーバー)を再起動します。追加のオプションがFormsサーブレットの管理ページ(http://<your_web_server_hostname>:<port>/forms/frmservlet/adminなどのURLでアクセス可能)に表示されます。

Oracle FormsアプリケーションをFormsサーブレット以外の方法(静的HTMLページやJSPなど)で実行している場合、formsweb.cfgファイルのパラメータ設定は使用されません。そのため、Listener ServletにworkingDirectoryやenvFileなどのサーブレット・パラメータを定義する必要があります(Formsランタイム・プロセスの現在の作業ディレクトリや、使用する環境設定が含まれたファイルを指定します)。
