Internet Explorer and ATG Applications
Internet Explorer 9 and 10 treat queries originating from the Internet and an intranet differently. They use the following settings by default:
All Internet sites are displayed in IE 9/10 mode (Tools > Compatibility View is turned off)
All intranet sites are displayed in IE 7 mode (Tools > Compatibility View is turned on)
ATG products follow the default settings. Compatibility View is not supported for use with external ATG applications (products that run on the customer-facing server). Compatibility View is required for use with internal ATG applications (products that run on the asset management or agent-facing server).
