Validating a Documaker Document

Before sending a Documaker document to a Studio user, you should validate it.

Validating a Documaker document helps ensure it is properly assembled and will convert correctly in Studio.

To validate a Documaker document

  1. From the Documaker tab, click Validate.
  2. In the Document Validation dialog, click Validate.

The validation process starts. After it has completed, any validation errors appear in the Validation Results pane.

  1. Follow the instructions in the validation error to help resolve it. For help, contact your system administrator or project administrator.
Note Although you can submit a Documaker document containing validation errors to Studio, we recommend resolving as many of the validation errors as possible to streamline the conversion. For help with resolving validation errors, contact your system administrator or project administrator.
