27 PeopleSoft Collections

Oracle Configuration Manager collects configuration data for multiple PeopleTools/application releases and the data described in this chapter may not be applicable to all combinations. Because of this restriction, configurations may not show all possible data to be collected.

User IDs and passwords are never intentionally captured as part of the collection process. A value of empty or not empty is returned when User IDs and passwords are evaluated.

27.1.29 Application Server Service Configuration

When an Application Server is configured, the features are captured in the psappserv.ubx file. The metric collects all the application server features/ processes and the enabled value during an application server configuration. The listing of all features allows GSC to analyze the features enabled and the process configurations that are active within the domain. The metric is a name value pair that lists all Application Server processes and whether the feature is enabled or not.

If a slave domain has the highest priority within a failover group, it can dynamically change to a master during failover.
