Utilities.stringFromValList
Creates a URL-like set of name/value pairs from a map.
This method has two variants:
- stringFromValList (Variant 1) creates a URL-like set of name/value pairs from a map.
- stringFromValList (Variant 2) creates a URL-like set of name/value pairs from a map and allows you to encode names and values from outside of Sites.

Syntax
public static String stringFromValList(Map map)Parameters
map- The map you want to compress into a string.
Description
The
stringFromValListmethod creates a URL-like set of name/value pairs from a map; for example,x=y&a=b&c=d. In previous versions of Sites,stringFromValListaccepted anIListrather than a map. In the current version of Sites, IList is a map.
stringFromValListreturns a string, but that string needs to be encoded to be URL safe. Note that empty strings are not preserved.Returns
The string of name/value pairs.
