8.2 Process for Setting Up Custom Online Status Pages

The following is a high-level overview of the process for setting up your own online status pages with Oracle IRM:

  1. Write (code, program) a system for generating a set of HTML pages to match the Oracle IRM status pages. You will need the information in "Reference Information and Examples".

Your system can acquire Oracle IRM status information (that is, the status information known to Oracle IRM Desktop) using either of two HTTP methods: HTTP POST or HTTP GET. Notes to help developers using these methods are included under "Acquiring Oracle IRM Status Information".

  2. Host your new system on your own web server.

  3. Set up redirection of status information to your own web server (see "Configuring Oracle IRM Server for Custom Online Status Pages").
