Searching Objects

You can search for different types of objects in Document Factory, using a wide variety of search criteria.

Specifically, you can:

• search jobs
• search transactions
• search recipients
• search batches
• search publications
• search errors
• search logs

The general hierarchy of a search is: Assembly Line > Job > Transaction > Recipient > Batch.

To search objects

1. From the Search pane, use the Object drop-down to select the type of object to search for.
2. Enter your search criteria. To reset your search criteria, click Reset.
3. Click Search. The search results appear in the Results tab.
4. To view additional details of an object in the in the Results tab, click a hyperlink.

A new list opens displaying additional details about the object.
