Completing Multiple Tasks in Edit Mode

You can mark multiple tasks complete. Updating multiple tasks simultaneously is faster than marking tasks complete one at a time. However, you should avoid marking tasks complete by mistake since you cannot remove the Finished date from tasks marked complete.

Note: Contact your manager or administrator if you need to restore data that you cannot edit. For example, if you mark multiple tasks complete and then discover that they were marked complete by mistake or that additional work effort is required, your manager can use P6 to manually remove the finish date.

To mark multiple tasks complete:

1. In the Task List, tap Edit.
2. In Edit mode, tap the tasks you have completed. The application temporarily marks each selected task with the Selected icon.
3. Tap Complete.
4. Tap Save.

   Note: You cannot set Finished dates when marking multiple tasks complete at once. The Finished date for the tasks will be the date on which you marked them complete.
