Manage Password Rules page

The Manage Password Rules page lists the password rules defined for your study, including a default rule and any password rules you created.

  Fields in the Manage Password Rules page

  Field	Description	Note
  Edit link	Edit the password rule.
  Password Rule Name	Descriptive name for the rule.	Required.
  Minimum Length	Minimum password length.	Must be an integer greater than 0.
  Maximum Length	Maximum password length.	Must be an integer greater than 0.
  At Least One Numeric Character	Whether the password must include a number.
  At Least One Lowercase Character	Whether the password must include a lower-case letter.
  At Least One Uppercase Character	Whether the password must include a capital letter.
  At Least One Nonalphanumeric Character	Whether the password must include a nonalphanumeric character.
  Number of Previous Passwords that cannot be Reused	One of the following: A positive number—Number of previous passwords that cannot be reused. 0—No previous passwords can be reused. -1—All passwords can be reused.
  Number of Login Attempts Permitted	One of the following: A positive number—Number of consecutive failed sign-in attempts allowed. 0—No limit on sign-in attempts.
  Change Password at First Login	Whether users must change their passwords after signing in the first time.
  Expires in How Many Days	One of the following: A positive number—Number of days before the password expires. 0—Password never expires.
  Default Rule	Whether the password rule is applied to all roles without explicitly defined password rules.
