Specifying date, number, and currency formats and name sorting order
You can localize how dates and numbers are formatted through the OutcomeLogix application, the currency used at your site, and how to sort user and patient names—by first or last name. You can make these changes at three levels:
- User level—The formatting settings from your user profile are the default.
- Site level—If values are not specified in your profile, the settings for the site in which you are working are used.
- Study level—If values are not specified for the site, the settings on the Localization Parameter Settings page are used.
To specify localization parameters at the user level:
- On the Navigation bar, click your user name.
The User Profile page appears.
- Select values from the Date Format, Name Sort, Number Format, and Currency Format drop-down lists. For more information, see Viewing and editing your profile.
- Click Submit.
To specify localization parameters at the site level:
- Select Administration (
). - Click Manage Sites.
The Manage Sites page appears.
- On the site list, click the Edit link for the site.
- Select values from the Date Format, Name Sort, Number Format, and Currency Format drop-down lists. For more information, see Manage Sites page.
- Click Submit.
To specify localization parameters at the study level:
- Select Administration ().
- Click Manage Localization Settings.
The Manage Localization Settings page appears.
- Fill in the fields as necessary. For more information, see Manage Localization Settings page.
- Click Submit.
