Managing queries
You work with and manage queries from several pages in the OutcomeLogix application:
- Dashboard—Displays a high-level view of key study details. The Query Status section shows the number of queries in each status (Open, Answered, Approved, Closed, Candidate, and Deleted). Click a status count to open the Query List page to view the queries that are assigned the status for the site selected. To restrict queries to a particular site, select a site from the Site drop-down list.
- Query List page—Displays a summary of all queries. Accessed by selecting the Queries icon (
) on the navigation bar, the Query List page shows the details about each query. Users tasked with answering queries or reviewing responses to queries can use the Query List page as a to-do list and can selectively view queries by filtering the list first or searching for a specific Query ID or Patient ID. - Query Detail page—Displays details about a specific query selected on the Query List page. The Query Detail page includes an Answer tab, for responding to an open query, and a History tab, to view the history of the query.
- Site users can answer open queries and view query history.
- Sponsor users can view query history, review responses to queries, and change the status of queries.
- Patient Summary page—Displays query status icons next to patients, visits, forms, and items and provides links to answer queries and icons to update the status of the queries. You access the Patient Summary page by selecting the Patients icon (
) on the navigation bar and clicking the Summary link for a patient. - Navigation pane—Displays the Open Query icon (
) to the left of the visit and form names with open queries. Any time you open a visit or form, the navigation pane appears on the left side of the page. - Forms—Displays a Query Status icon to the right of every item with an answered, closed, or approved query associated with it. You can click the item to display the Query Detail window for that query. The grid summarizing the data in repeating sections with forms includes a Form Status column, which displays query status icons that apply to the repeating sections.
- Query Detail dialog box—Displays an abbreviated version of the Query Detail page to the right of the form, enabling you to answer the query and view the query history without leaving the form.
