Starting an interview

  1. If the Call Center List page is not your homepage, select Call Center List (Icon. Click to navigate to Call Center List page.).

    The Call Center List page appears.

  2. Click the Patient ID link of a patient. If the patient is not listed, use the search options to locate the patient. To see only the patients who are in the call queue, select the Patients Due search filter.

    The Call Center Patient Details page appears. For more information, see Call Center Patient Details page.

  3. Call the patient.
  4. In the Quick Links pane, select the call script appropriate to your contact with the patient or the person who answers the call.

    The call script appears in the Call Script pane, customized to show prompts that are specific to the patient (for example, the name of the patient).

  5. If the patient or informant agrees to complete the survey, click Interview.

    If the patient is within the survey window, a list of the current forms to be completed appears.

    Note: If the patient is outside the survey window, you can conduct an interview by clicking Override or report a major medical event by clicking Call Center Intake Form.

  6. Click Continue.

    The first form in the survey appears.

  7. Fill out the form with the patient, and click Submit.

    The next form in the survey appears.

  8. Repeat for each form in the survey.

Note: At any time during the course of a study, you can click the Interview button to complete a scheduled survey.
