Table 5.1 describes the steps for powering on the Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance at your site.

1	Review the safety precautions, guidelines, site checklists, and site requirements.	Section 5.3.1, “Review Safety Guidelines”
2	Perform preliminary checks before connecting the power cords.	Section 5.3.2, “Inspect Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance”
3	Verify the hardware by visually inspecting the system.
4	Connect theOracle Fabric Interconnect F1-15 Director Switches and Oracle Switch ES1-24 switches. Also connect a workstation with monitor to the Oracle Switch ES1-24.	Section 5.2, “Before Initial Power On”
5	Supply rack power, and perform the power-on self-test device checks.	Section 5.3.3, “Connect the Power Cords”

7	Power on the management nodes.
