1 | Review the safety precautions, guidelines, site checklists, and site requirements. | |
2 | Perform preliminary checks before connecting the power cords. | |
3 | Verify the hardware by visually inspecting the system. | |
4 | Connect theOracle Fabric Interconnect F1-15 Director Switches and Oracle Switch ES1-24 switches. Also connect a workstation with monitor to the Oracle Switch ES1-24. | |
5 | Supply rack power, and perform the power-on self-test device checks. | |
6 | Switch on the two power distribution unit (PDU) circuit breakers located on the rear of the main PDU (PDU A). | |
7 | Power on the management nodes. | |
8 | Wait 5 to 10 minutes and then connect to the Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance Dashboard. |
