5.1 Power On Task Map

Table 5.1 describes the steps for powering on the Oracle Virtual Compute Appliance at your site.

Verify the hardware by visually inspecting the system.

Connect theOracle Fabric Interconnect F1-15 Director Switches and Oracle Switch ES1-24 switches. Also connect a workstation with monitor to the Oracle Switch ES1-24.

Supply rack power, and perform the power-on self-test device checks.

Switch on the two power distribution unit (PDU) circuit breakers located on the rear of the main PDU (PDU A).
