Supplies a parameter to the current servlet bean.
<dsp:oparam name="param-name
">
...
</dsp:oparam>
Attributes
name
Identifies the parameter to set for the current servlet bean.
value
The value to assign this parameter.
Usage Notes
dsp:oparam
(open parameter) takes the value supplied to it in a JSP and passes it to the current dsp:droplet
tag. Each servlet bean maintains a set of open parameters which the servlet bean can set, service, and deliver as output to a JSP. For information about open parameters that are available for specific servlet beans, see Appendix B: ATG Servlet Beans.
See the How JSPs Handle Servlet Beans section in the Creating and Using ATG Servlet Beans chapter of the Platform Programming Guide.
Example
<dsp:importbean bean="/atg/dynamo/droplet/Switch"/> <dsp:valueof param="person.name"/>: <dsp:droplet name="Switch"> <dsp:param name="value" param="person.hasCar"/> <dsp:oparam name="false"> No vehicle </dsp:oparam> <dsp:oparam name="true"> Vehicle with capacity of <dsp:valueof param="person.carCapacity"/> </dsp:oparam> </dsp:droplet>
The Switch
servlet bean evaluates the input parameter value
and tests the Boolean result against the open parameters true
and false
. The servlet bean processes the matching open parameter.
