UMass Chan Medical School has utilized the PeopleTools delivered activity guide framework to streamline the student onboarding process. All orientation and matriculation tasks are configured using activity guides, providing clear access to update information. This approach has eliminated the need for students to make in-person visits to various academic offices during onboarding. Incoming students can now conveniently complete required tasks online, including uploading pictures for ID badge, recording name pronunciation, submitting health related documents for clearance, and providing other necessary information.
