Alliant Energy implemented the PeopleSoft Mobile Inventory Fluid user interface solution on iPhones and barcode scanner sleds, replacing a custom solution running on 10 year old handhelds, and converted custom inventory pages to the Fluid user interface, making the full suite of PeopleSoft delivered features and custom pages available on mobile devices for a consistent, modern user experience and easy completion of inventory transactions at any time, from anywhere.
Alliant Energy implemented the PeopleSoft Mobile Inventory solution on iPhones and barcode scanner sleds. We replaced a custom inventory count system that was running on 10 year old handhelds with the full suite of transactions available in PeopleSoft Mobile inventory. We also converted a few of our custom classic inventory pages to Fluid to be accessible on the mobile devices.
Now our users can complete inventory transactions virtually wherever they are. We were able to deliver modern user experience on time and on budget with no outside integrations.
