Cape Cod Healthcare implemented Notification Composer replacing the classic PeopleSoft notification process

At Cape Cod Healthcare, previously, the classic PeopleSoft notification process was used for managing notifications.

The move to the PeopleSoft-delivered, centralized Notification Composer was driven by the desire to utilize the out-of-the-box notifications provided by PeopleSoft, especially for Approval Workflow Engine scenarios, which made notification creation much easier.

During the implementation and migration, some challenges were encountered, as almost all notifications had been transitioned to Notification Composer while the old setup was still in place.

As a result, each notification had to be set up, configured, and tested to ensure proper functionality. Additionally, custom notifications had to be created.

Overall, positive feedback has been received from users, as the system is seen as intuitive and easy to use, with most notifications being configurable and minimal additional coding is required.
