Using real-time indexing and implementing the Solution Management Insights dashboard in HR Helpdesk is supporting the management of hundreds of solutions.
Our team incorporated existing solution reporting pivot grids and created a single dashboard using the existing solution reporting feature and the new Solution Management Insights dashboard. These features were merged into one single tile and dashboard to improve our user experience for the Solution Management team.
There was an immediate benefit to our solution administrators to be able to find stale, unused solutions and those that were not categorized correctly.
Using real-time indexing, administrators can now act directly from the Solution Management Insights dashboard, update solutions, and then return to the Solution Management Insights dashboard to immediately see the impact of the change.
The feedback from our users has been great and there is now interest in exploring other Insights dashboards across other PeopleSoft applications.
This was also the first real-time index and Insights analytic implemented at The City of Calgary, which laid the underlying groundwork for rolling out more Insights dashboards and real-time indexes within PeopleSoft CRM and HCM.
