Summary

Disys embraced PeopleSoft Fluid and have adopted Event Mapping Framework for modal announcements, injecting headers and footers without customization. They have used Page and Field Configurator for customizing field labels, showing/hiding the fields based on User Roles. This made the migration path maintainable and streamlined. REST-based Webservices have been used to integrate PeopleSoft with collaboration tools like “Workplace by Facebook” for the employees to do critical work, including Timesheet and Absence entry, and, Approvals during COVID-19 crisis.

Implementation of Fluid Desktop and Mobile Versions with Custom Disys Branding.
Developed Custom Fluid Pages, Dashboards, Tiles, WorkCenters for Employees/Managers/Admins.
Enabled Custom Photo Upload Option for Self Service Users so that the users themselves can change their profile picture.

Implemented and Started using Frameworks like "Page & Field Configurator" and "Event Mapping" extensively in order to reduce customizations done to the delivered components/pages. Migrating most of the customizations were easy using these frameworks as this helps also in Code Maintainability and follows the streamlined migration process.
Integrated with Collaboration Tool “Workplace by Facebook” which is being used by 3600+ users of Disys. From this Collaboration Tool also, the users can complete their day to day routine work like Submission of Timesheet, Approvals, Asset Tracking, ESS Transactions built using PeopleSoft Tech Stack.
