Evergy
Evergy implemented Page and Field Configurator change tracking along with Change Tracking Insights
Summary
Evergy implemented Page and Field Configurator (PFC) change tracking along with Change Tracking Insights to gain greater visibility into user driven changes within PeopleSoft FSCM. By leveraging these insights, Evergy has begun to uncover actionable opportunities to improve business processes, optimize system configurations, and enhance user efficiency.
Change Tracking Insights provides intuitive, easy to consume dashboards that highlight how users interact with configured pages and fields. Using this data, Evergy is identifying repetitive manual actions and configuration gaps, and targeted training opportunities. Although still early in the data collection phase, Evergy is already realizing value by using real usage data to make informed decisions that reduce manual effort, improve data quality, and drive more consistent system usage across procurement and other business functions.
Customer comments
When Evergy upgraded to FSCM Image 50, we implemented Page and Field Configurator (PFC) change tracking along with Change Tracking Insights. While we are still in the early stages of collecting data, we have already started uncovering actionable insights that are helping us identify opportunities to improve processes, optimize our system configuration, and retrain users for greater efficiency when entering and maintaining purchase orders.
PFC change tracking provides visibility into user driven data modifications through intuitive and easy to consume Insights dashboards. Using Change Tracking Insights, we observed that users were frequently updating freight terms manually on purchase orders. This insight revealed a training gap—many users were unaware that default values could be configured to reduce manual entry, saving time while also reducing errors.
Through Page and Field Configurator change tracking and the associated Insights dashboards, we were able to:
- Identify repetitive manual actions that could be automated or streamlined.
- Spot targeted training opportunities to improve user proficiency and reduce unnecessary steps.
- Enhance system usability by adjusting configurations based on actual user behavior.
As we continue to analyze the change tracking data, we expect to uncover additional opportunities to better leverage system capabilities, improve business processes, and enhance data quality across procurement and other functional areas.
