Creating PeopleSoft pages to emulate information required for all domestic and international applications, allowing applicants to save & revisit their applications; and, to complete assessment activities and fast-track towards the offer process.
College of Lake County successfully used Fluid delegations to enable managers to easily set up their own delegations from any device.
Kaiser Permanente has subscribed to Oracle's Guided Learning cloud offering and are using it with PeopleSoft. They have created 400 FSCM guides that are live and have been used thousands of times in the last year! Additionally, end-users benefit by having the same UI experience as they do with the Guided Learning on the recent Oracle HCM Cloud deployment.
While upgrading their PeopleSoft FSCM and Campus Solutions systems, Birla Institute of Technology & Science (BITS) Pilani, in conjunction with their partner Kovaion Consulting, identified many customizations that they were able to convert to configurations using drop zones, Application Engine plugins, event mapping, and Page and Field Configurator. BITS Pilani identified over 100 customizations in FSCM and over 250 customizations in Campus Solutions. More than 50% of these customizations were converted to configurations using event mapping, Application Engine plugins, and drop zones. Baird implemented PeopleSoft Kibana. Baird took inspiration from the delivered search indexes and Kibana visualizations, built custom detailed search indexes and visualizations, and then modified the labels on these to suit organizational terminology. Cape Cod Healthcare deployed Health & Safety specifically to allow employees to report an injury or illness, their previous process was to collect information on a paper form. Through self-service, employees enter information about their incident and attach any supporting documentation. Notifications are automatically sent to the Health & Safety Admin for review and approval.
The College of Lake County is a comprehensive public community college committed to equitable high-quality education, cultural enrichment, and partnerships to advance the diverse communities it serves. The college has three campuses in Lake County, Illinois enrolling about 15,000 students and employing about 2,000 people.
The Governor of Illinois issued a state mandate that students and personnel must show proof of COVID-19 vaccination status or submit to weekly testing. College of Lake County knew it would be extremely burdensome to have the Health & Safety Administrator entering in hundreds of COVID-19 test results each week. So, to assist in the tracking of employee vaccination and weekly testing, College of Lake County quickly deployed Health & Safety's Employee Vaccination and Test Result Self Service feature. College of Lake County employees can now easily and quickly go into Employee Self Service (from their computer or their phone) and enter their COVID-19 test information on a weekly basis. Employees can also view their vaccination status in the vaccination tile.
Endeavour Foundation is a not-for-profit charity headquartered in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. Their vision is to support people with an intellectual disability to live their best lives, to live active and fulfilling lives at home, to find employment compatible with their abilities, and to engage more broadly within the community.
The Endeavour Foundation, in conjunction with their partner Deloitte, utilized the Fluid Announcement tile to communicate to the foundation's employees that they could start entering in their vaccination information. In addition to COVID-19, employees also enter vaccinations for hepatitis B, influenza, and tetanus.
Vaccination tracking is part of the foundation's long-term strategy and they decided to have PeopleSoft HCM serve as the system of record for tracking this information. The biggest benefits were the ability for the employees to enter their own vaccination information with approvals and the ability to keep the data secure within PeopleSoft HCM. The Endeavour Foundation was able uptake this feature in a matter of weeks.
RSM is an audit and tax consulting firm, employing more than 11,000 in the U.S. and Canada. They deployed Health & Safety specifically to allow employees to report when they received their COVID vaccinations. Through self-service, employees enter information about their vaccination and attach proof. Notifications are automatically sent to the Benefits and Employee Relations departments as part of the approval process. The ability to track employee vaccinations is critical to RSM’s operations since they need to ensure that any employees assigned to a client site or planning to return to work at an RSM office are properly vaccinated ahead of time.

Temple University Health Systems, in conjunction with their partner SpearMC, implemented PeopleSoft health and safety to replace a third-party system that was in use for health and safety incident management. PeopleSoft health and safety provides self-service capabilities for employees to report health and safety incidents and an approval workflow process with email notifications. These are great value additions that increase efficiency for health and safety administration.
White & Case, in conjunction with their partner Version1, went live with PeopleSoft fluid position management as well as the primary incumbent functionality. White & Case chose fluid position management because they needed the ability to utilize effective sequence while updating position information. White & Case also found great value in being able to mark the primary incumbent of a position, which is something they had not been able to do in the past utilizing classic position management capabilities.
As part of their fluid first strategy, Jubilant Life Sciences Limited, in conjunction with their partner 1218 Global, have implemented Fluid Position Management. They have used the delivered attachment framework and approvals, and have been successful in retiring customizations. They were also able to deploy the capability to review the budget prior to the opening of a position.
One of the largest U.S. providers of skilled nursing, memory care, and rehabilitative services—SavaSeniorCare—deployed Fluid Position Management. In so doing, they were able to remove some legacy customizations. One advantage of Fluid Position Management is that it allows effective sequencing to flow from the position to the job record. This reduces the number of correction mode activities for SavaSeniorCare HR Administrators while improving the historical accuracy and auditability of their position records.
Deakin University, in conjunction with their partner INK IT Solutions, deployed fluid timesheets and manager timesheet approvals providing a modern, accessible, and mobile-friendly platform to ensure timely and accurate payment for over 5,000 of their staff.

Mutual of Omaha, a well-known insurance and financial services company, implemented fluid timesheet to enable employees to complete their own time entry. This self-service method streamlined the process by allowing employees to report their hours directly to Payroll. With the fluid timesheet, Mutual of Omaha turned on real-time rules to replace a customization that prevented employees from exceeding their vacation balance limit. Introducing the self-service fluid timesheet has improved the efficiency and accuracy of time entry for the company.
Stanford Children's Health has implemented PeopleSoft fluid timesheets.
The State of Montana didn't find it easy to replace a timesheet that their employees had long grown used to, but in the end they were able to implement a fluid timesheet that gives their time reporters a more modern user experience and the ability to access it through mobile devices. The State used a combination of configuration and configurable frameworks to get a timesheet that their users liked.

Jack Henry and Associates, a technology solutions and services provider for financial institutions, implemented three Fluid WorkCenters - Payroll, Benefits, and Time and Labor. While the Payroll staff had previously used the classic version before, the Benefits staff and Time and Labor Managers, about 19% of their employee base, were new to the concept. The response from all of the users has been very positive. The WorkCenters are intuitive, provide a modern look and feel, make running queries and reports much easier for the super user or a manager, and provides a flow for ensuing all processes are completed. The exception section under My Work with the Alert numbers in the Time and Labor WorkCenter provides a quick review and has increased the number of managers actually reviewing exceptions. It saves clicks because managers no longer have to search for anything to know if there is work to be done.
UMass is a five-campus public university system with 73,000 students and the only public research system in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. UMass selectively adopted the HR Notifications feature originally delivered in HCM Image 34 because they needed a way to send monthly email updates to selected, large groups of employees for: Tax Withholding W-4 form renewals, Direct Deposit sign-ups, and Notification when paychecks have been processed. Prior to this, UMass would largely handle these notifications through multiple queries and manually sending out emails from their Help Desk. Notable advantages UMass observed were that HR Notifications included formatting options for the emails, logging capabilities for notifications, and that someone with a functional role could manage the process.
Evergy is the largest electric company in the state of Kansas in the U.S., serving more than 1.6 million residential, commercial and industrial customers. In May 2019, Forbes named Evergy as one of America's Best Top 500 Employers.
Since Evergy has a large union population and a limited HR staff, managers performed the majority of job data transactions on the employee's behalf using Smart HR. With the rollout of Fluid Job Data, Evergy was able to streamline the data entry process for managers using Page and Field Configurator (PFC) by limiting the fields required for data entry. Managers liked seeing the employee's photo and the current and proposed changes side-by-side before submitting the transaction for approval.

Harris Health System implemented fluid job data. Implementing fluid job data was one of the early steps in making their PeopleSoft application accessible outside the desktop. For the business, it has expanded their search capability through which they can save frequent searches to be used as quick filters, rather running a complete query or report to view results. The guided component helps their users to review the required pages upon adding or updating a row of data. The guide has two new pages that assist with their data entry such as validations with the ability to review a summary of the changes before the transaction is submitted.
The J. Paul Getty Trust implemented PeopleSoft Fluid Job Data. The new enhancements to Job Data, such as configurable search, attachments, approvals, and using Page and Field Configurator to hide or mask fields by Job Data transactions, results in a simple to use, intuitive application for HR administrators and clerks to perform various job data request transactions.
McLane Company, Inc. is one of the largest supply chain services leaders in the United States, providing grocery and foodservice solutions for convenience stores, mass merchants, drug stores and chain restaurants. McLane Company tested and deployed Fluid job data within one week. This deployment of their most important component in PeopleSoft HCM gives them the new a user experience for their administrators and the ability to stay current with job data features and functionality. Deploying Fluid job data has given McLane an opportunity to take advantage of the new configurable search and the ability to hide, mask, and grey out fields by transactions using Page and Field Configurator.
Harvard University is a private Ivy League research university in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Harvard University has deployed Workforce Composition Kibana analytic dashboard. Harvard University's deployment of Workforce Composition dashboard in Kibana provides them with different visualizations to analyze employee composition data. These visualizations include display of employees by department, full-time versus part-time employees, by regular versus temporary employees, and a total employee count.
Endeavour Foundation, in conjunction with their partner Deloitte, implemented PeopleSoft Offboarding for over 4,000 staff successfully progressing the organization from paper based terminations to online self-service functionality. They now have same day reporting and notification of termination to all key areas of the organization improving compliance with reduced notification timeframes allowing quicker termination payments. Additionally, they have automated approvals, reminders and reporting.
University of Massachusetts successfully used Paysheet Updates to pay expenses to inactive employees as well as make one-time payments, perform tax overrides and refunds, and refund deductions. During the pandemic, UMass also found other ways to leverage Paysheet Updates such as paying emergency earnings, parking refunds, and other unexpected payments to employees by having the process create off-cycle paysheets automatically.
BigLots! is an American retail company headquartered in Columbus, Ohio with over 1,400 stores in 47 states. As BigLots! administered return-to-work using a hybrid model, BigLots! went live with Employee Remote Worker starting January 2022. With the reporting of employee location being an employee responsibility at BigLots!, the Remote Worker feature in PeopleSoft HCM allowed BigLots! to record employee work location and use it for payroll and tax purposes.
When Clackamas County decided to implement telework as a permanent policy, they required each employee to complete a paper form with all the information and acknowledgement of the conditions of the telework agreement. What this meant for the County was collecting a form for every employee, data entry in an Excel spreadsheet, filing each form in the employee's personnel file, and then updating this manually anytime there was a change or with each new employee. This paper form would have created a huge workload and burden on HR as well as departments, manual processes, lost forms, and so on. With the PeopleSoft Remote Worker feature, employees and supervisors can manage the submission and approval of the telework agreement, and the County is able to provide real-time reporting to department and senior leadership on details of which employees are working remotely, when, and how often. Additionally, employees and supervisors can view their agreement at any time through Employee Self Service.

The ease in which the tiles can be used to navigate through the modules has helped their users to get to the desired destination in a seamless manner. The fluid environment also allowed for a smooth interface to mobile devices. This is especially useful to approvers that have an urgent requisition to approve in their queue. The fluid environment of PeopleSoft's eProcurement module is also very crisp and clean from a visual standpoint, so that just adds to the overall positive user experience.
The School District of Lee County implemented PeopleSoft Asset Tracking, eliminating the need for and cost of a third-party system. PeopleSoft Fluid Asset Tracking allows real-time processing and lookup of physical inventory. It also maintains necessary controls for all over or under discrepancies identified within the inventory capture. With PeopleSoft Fluid Asset Tracking, the School District of Lee County can find the exact location of assets without having to run additional reports.

It brings contract billing, revenue, and prepaids into a common interface with the ability to clear exceptions and run processes for revenue recognition and billing.
