Customer comments

Vidant Health has built a custom workforce demographics dashboard that provides leaders with insights into their workforce and position data within their reporting hierarchy. Executives and HR have visibility to view data for the entire organization. Leaders can see and evaluate the composition and attributes of their workforce using various visualizations and filters. For example, leaders can see vacant positions, positions being actively filled and where they are in process, and can view and drill down into team member and workforce data (including new hires and future hires) using attributes like employee status, org relationship, job title, years of service, manager level, and more. Through Kibana’s interactive dashboards, Vidant leaders can now make decisions on which departments/positions need their attention significantly faster. Once leaders are ready to make a decision, they can navigate directly to the job opening that corresponds with a specific position, or create a job opening if one doesn’t exist for the position.

Future dashboard developments plans include:

  • Creating additional HR dashboards for turnover, recruiting, workforce diversity, and compensation and performance
  • Creating inventory based dashboards

Vidant Health plans to use Kibana dashboards in their perioperative areas as well. Kibana's ability to refresh dashboard content every X minutes/seconds would allow them to display it on a wall mount monitor and draw attention to items needing attention such as missing items needed for surgeries or other inventory related exceptions as well as keep track of the progress of picking supplies for cases.
