Los Rios Community College District used PeopleSoft real-time indexing in production for search suggestions in keyword, recent menu items, and class search

Los Rios Community College District upgraded to PeopleTools 8.59 and is now using PeopleSoft real-time indexing in production for search suggestions in keyword, recent menu items, and class search. Keyword and recent menu items search suggestions provided noticeable improvements in the navigation for users. Additionally, implementation of real-time indexing for class search has resulted in elimination of database resource spikes that used to occur during frequent incremental search index jobs.
