Customer comments

The Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation (ODWC) had been using a legacy financial system and had the need to migrate to the State of Oklahoma's statewide PeopleSoft ERP system.

ODWC and OMES teamed with MIPRO to provide the PeopleSoft expertise, and they teamed with Oracle to provide support for the PeopleSoft OCI environment. MIPRO led the effort to identify the business requirements that were needed for ODWC and develop a plan to implement PeopleSoft in a manner that met the needs of ODWC yet fit within the statewide standards set by OMES.

The move to PeopleSoft provided ODWC with a more streamlined and efficient system to manage their financial needs by providing a single source of truth for data and providing end-to-end business processes within a single system.

The system also significantly reduced the need for manual data entry and provided the reporting and queries needed by management and users.

The added benefit of migrating to the statewide PeopleSoft platform is that ODWC can be better supported by OMES. Because of that support, OWDC can take advantage of new features and capabilities more easily as well as stay current on security updates, patches, and other infrastructure-related updates without having to manage those within their department.
