Customer comments
Powers Health (formerly Community Healthcare System), in conjunction with their partner SpearMC, migrated their supplier contracts from a third-party system to PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management.
Powers Health integrated with DocuSign for electronic signatures and with eProcurement and purchasing for contract spending. They have 27 contract styles and 80 document types. Using UiPath RPA, they migrated 7,000 contract documents in PDF format and 8,000 attachments from a legacy system to PeopleSoft. The migrated contracts and attachments were validated in PeopleSoft using PeopleSoft Test Framework.
In addition to the delivered features, Powers Health built custom enhancements to allow questions for all contracts and to automatically generate the procurement contract. They also built notifications on certain conditions: new supplier, contract expiration, and business associate agreement required for protected health information.
Migrating supplier contracts from a third-party system to PeopleSoft Supplier Contract Management has resulted in:
- An improved user experience through more intuitive interface and workflows.
- An optimized, user friendly contracting process.
- Increased transparency and accountability through the contracting lifecycle.
- Efficiency through automation of manual processes.
- Improved contract controls for business associate agreements that eliminates emails.
- Improved communication among contract roles using internal comments and system alerts.
