Business Problem:

The Finance Department at Sarasota Memorial Health Care Systems had recently updated various accounts and departments, which caused some reporting and access issues. They lacked visibility into who changed the information and what specific changes were made. Going forward, they wanted to track user activity and field-level changes for the Account and Department pages.

Solution:

We implemented the Change Tracking feature of Page & Field Configurator to monitor updates to the Account and Department ChartField values.

Additionally, we updated permission list security to enable users to access the Related Content link on the Account and Department ChartField value pages. The Related Content page provides change details, which includes who made the change, when the change was made, the before and after values, and the mode of entry used to make the entry.

The Page & Field Configurator – Change Tracking feature allows the finance department to quickly identify changes made so that corrections can be made to the reports, account or department information when required.
