At the State of North Dakota, when we implemented the Fluid Position Management, Fluid Job Data, and Fluid Person Data features, we used Page and Field Configurator to enable updates to specific fields related to position reasons and job data action reasons.
We worked collaboratively to do a clean-up of action reason codes as well as determining what fields would be available to update for action reason code update made in position and job data.
Implementing fluid for administrators helped streamline operational processes by reducing the time required for updates as well as enforcing standardized data entry, thereby improving data integrity across multiple agencies.
We added multiple customizations to streamline the process. Most of the fluid updates auto approve, only a couple are sent for approval.
We also implemented correct history for job data. The correct history transactions are sent for approval.
The agency human resource administrators have embraced the change understanding how it has streamlined the updates they make the position, job data, and person. The Position Management Insights dashboard was also implemented at the same time, which has been helpful to provide a great visualization to help human resource administrators manage their agency positions.
