Integrated Personnel and Pay System - Army (IPPS-A) is the Army's flagship human resources and talent management modernization effort. IPPS-A provides soldiers with the flexibility to operate on the move, accessing their personnel records on a mobile phone or tablet using their DS logon. Personnel actions through IPPS-A automatically trigger more timely and accurate pay, providing soldiers and their families enhanced financial readiness. Soldiers can submit help inquiries, request updates to their records, and monitor the status of their personnel actions through the app without an in-person trip to a G1/S1 shop (personnel/administrative office). IPPS-A enables the Army to better manage the talents of the total force based on their knowledge, skills, and behaviors.
