How to Run the /var/spool/omqueue Old Mail Queue

1. Become an administrator.

   For more information, see Using Your Assigned Administrative Rights in Securing Users and Processes in Oracle Solaris 11.3.

2. Run the old mail queue.

   # /usr/lib/sendmail -oQ/var/spool/omqueue -q

   –oQ

   Specifies an alternate queue directory

   –q

   Runs every job in the queue

   –v

   Displays verbose output on the screen

3. Remove the empty directory.

   # rmdir /var/spool/omqueue
