External Systems and Business Events in Opera

The External Systems setup allows a user to activate interfaces for properties that communicate outside of Opera. To ensure the external system is properly configured, perform the following actions in order:

1. If necessary, activate the license code for the external system.
2. Set up and activate the external system in Opera.
3. Configure the desired business events, data elements, and where clauses/conditions.

   Note: The business events cannot be configured unless the external system is configured first.

Once properly configured, all business activities performed in Opera are sent to the linked external systems.
