Propagation of Specials, Features, Preferences and Comments from the Profile to the Reservation

For New Reservations (before the reservation is saved): If you switch the profile attached to the reservation (this can only be done before the reservation is saved), or if you modify the specials, features, preferences, or comments belonging to the profile that is attached to the reservation, these elements will propagate to the reservation only if the associated field is blank. This behavior is necessary because existing information in any of these fields may have been manually entered and should therefore supersede (and not be overwritten by) any data provided by default. However, if you remove specials, features, preferences, or comments information from the reservation and then modify the profile, changed fields will automatically be populated with the new data upon returning to the reservation.

For Existing Reservations (after the reservation is saved): If you modify the specials, features, preferences, or comments belonging to the profile that is attached to the reservation, these elements will automatically propagate to the reservation only if the associated reservation field is blank. If specials, features, preferences, or comments exist, these fields will not automatically populate when corresponding information is changed on the profile.
