Property Types

Select Configuration>Property>Property Types to create categories of properties that may then be attached to a property on the Property Detail screen. Use Property Types to assist in grouping your properties by their characteristics (e.g., bed and breakfast, corporate, express, Four Star, Four Diamond).

The following information is available on the Property Types screen.

Property Type. Property type code (e.g., 5STAR, 5DIAM, BNB, CORP).

Description. Property type description (e.g., five star property, four diamond property, bed and breakfast, corporate property).

Sequence. The order or sequence in which  the property type code displays in lists.

Adding and Editing Property Types

To create a new property type, select the New button. To edit an existing property type, highlight your choice on the Property Type screen and select the Edit button. The Property Type - New or Property Type - Edit screen appears.

Provide the following information and select the OK button.

Property Type. Enter the property type code (e.g., 5S, 5D, BNB, CORP).

Description. Enter the property type description (e.g., five star property, four diamond property, bed and breakfast, corporate property).

Sequence. Enter the sequence number for the property type code. This is the order or sequence in which  the property type code displays in lists. Property type codes without a sequence number are displayed alphabetically following property type codes that have a sequence number.
