Event Note Change Log (REP_EVENT_NOTE_CHANGELOG.REP with REP_EVENT_NOTE_CHANGELOG.FMX)

This report has been especially created to be able to report changes to Banquet Event Orders after distribution without having to reprint the whole original sheet. It works in conjunction with event notes. In order to have the change notes print on the report it will be necessary to create an event note for the appropriate event with the notes type 'Change'. The system will date/time and user stamp the note. Any changes that should be included in the Change Log report that is distributed should be recorded in these notes. Please keep in mind that in addition to typing the notes for the Change Log Report, it will still be necessary to amend the event and/or resources in Opera so that the revenues and covers are correct for other catering reports. It is possible to order the report for one specific business block, for a selection of events or by 'event programme' if this function is utilized by the catering office.

Note: This report requires that the user be granted the EVENT PRINT permission in the selected property to run the report. Also, the Property LOV in this report is further limited by the properties to which the user has the appropriate access granted.

Selection Criteria

Property. Available when OPS_MHT2 license is active; choose the property for which the report should be printed.

Business Block. Select one or more specific business blocks for which to print the report.

Note: When selecting a Master Block ID in the Business Block filter, Opera will also include the Sub Block IDs linked to that Master. The report will then print all Events linked to the Master and its Sub Blocks. If a Sub Block ID is selected, only Events linked to that Sub Block will be printed.

Event Programme. Select one or more event programmes, if this function is used by the hotel. An event programme groups several events that belong to the same business block into a unit in order to easier print these events together on BEO's and other reports like this one.

Event Dates From. Select an event date range.

Event. Select one or more specific events to be included in the report.

Change Log Dates. Select a date range in which the change notes have been created. The system will compare this to the change note date/time stamp of creation/last modification.

Change Log Times. Narrows down the selection of a time period during which the changes have been made. Again, this filter is evaluated against the date/time stamp of creation/modification of the event change notes.

User. Select a specific user id for which to print changes. This will be compared against the user name that was stamped onto the event change notes on creation/modification.

Internal Notes. The report will only print those event change notes that are also flagged as 'internal' if this flag is checked on the filter form.

Report Data

The report will print in event date order. Within each date, events will print per business block and within each business block by programme ID if used. Only events that do have event change notes attached will print on this report. The only exception to this is, if a programme ID is linked to an event that has a change note attached, all other events for the same day, with the same programme ID will also print on the report, irrespectively of if they have any event change notes themselves.

Information that prints includes, business block name and account name, programme ID if one exists, the event id, event date, event time and event name. The main information in regard to the event change notes shows change date, change time, change made by, event ID and the text of the change note itself.
