Tax Office
The Tax Office field may be screen painted onto the Profile screen More Fields tab in order to display a list of acceptable tax office locations. Staff may then make a selection from this standard list when verifying guest tax offices.
To configure tax office codes, select System Configuration>Profile>Geographical Data>Custom>Tax Office. The Tax Office Codes screen appears.
The screen includes the following information.
Code. Code for the tax office.
Description. Description of the tax office.
Seq. Code display sequence number.
Select the New button from the Tax Office Codes screen to create a new tax office. To edit an existing tax office, highlight your choice and select the Edit button. The Tax office Codes - New or Tax Office Codes - Edit screen appears. Provide the following information and select the OK button.
Code. Enter a code that represents the tax office. This code may not be changed when editing a tax office.
Description. Enter a description of the tax office.
Display Seq. Enter a number that will determine the position of the tax office code when it is displayed in lists of tax offices. Tax office codes that do not have a sequence number assigned are displayed in alphabetical order following those codes that have a sequence number.
