TRANSFER AR INVOICE FULL AMOUNT Permission

Permission Group. AR

Description. Permission to transfer only the full invoice amount from one AR account to another AR account. When this permission is granted (without TRANSFER AR INVOICE PARTIAL AMOUNT permission), the user cannot edit the Amount field on the Transfer screen.

Application Used In. PMS

Path. Along with the TRANSFER AR INVOICE PARTIAL AMOUNT permission, controls the availability of the Transfer button from two locations:

• AR>AR Maintenance> choose an account to display the AR Account Maintenance screen. Choose the Transfer button from the AR Account Posting Options.
• AR>Research to open the Transaction Research screen; highlight invoice and select the Transfer button.

Other Permissions.

The TRANSFER AR INVOICE PARTIAL AMOUNT permission allows the user to transfer full or partial AR invoice amounts to another account. When granted (with or without TRANSFER AR INVOICE FULL AMOUNT permission) the user will be able to edit the Amount field on the Transfer screen.

The TRANSFER AR POSTINGS permission (available when the AR Charges Transfer application parameter is set to Y) controls the ability to transfer postings between accounts from one invoice to another between accounts. When granted, the Transfer button is available on the Invoice Details screen: AR>AR Maintenance> choose an account and select the Invoice button on the Account Maintenance screen. If the user is not granted TRANSFER AR INVOICE PARTIAL AMOUNT permission then it is recommended that TRANSFER AR POSTINGS not be granted as well in order to prevent transferring individual charges which would potentially result in partial transfer of an invoice between accounts.
