Comp Types

Select Configuration>Comp Accounting>Comp Types to set up codes that will allow you to rank guests for whatever need. For example, you might use this feature to identify guests according to their gaming expertise.

This feature is available when the Comp Accounting>Comp Types application function is set to Y.

Once the Comp Types are set up using the Comp Types screen, you may associate them with specific reservations on a per-comp-window basis via the Routing Instructions screen.

To set up a new comp type, select the New button on the Comp Types screen. To edit an existing comp type, highlight your choice on the Comp Types screen and select the Edit button. The Comp Types - New or Comp Types - Edit screen appears.

Provide the following information and select the OK button.

Code. Comp type code.

Description. Comp type description.

Sequence. Number that determines the position of the comp type in lists. Comp type codes that do not have a sequence number assigned are listed in alphabetic order following those comp types that have a sequence number.
