Select Miscellaneous>Memberships>Guest Records to display the Attach Memberships to Reservations screen. Use this screen to assist guests who didn't present their membership cards during check in to manually credit points to their membership account even after they checked-out.
Provide the following information, then select the Calculate button.
Guest. Select the down arrow to display the Reservation List screen with all checked-out reservation records (guest name, room, room type, arrival, departure, rooms, status, travel/source, and group/company). Select the guest name and press OK.
Arrival. The associated check in date of the selected reservation will automatically default in this field and cannot be modified.
Departure. The associated check out date of the selected reservation will automatically default in this field and cannot be modified.
Member Type. Click the down arrow to display the reservation Memberships screen showing all membership types associated with the selected reservation (type, card number, description, expiration, level, class). To attach membership(s) to the reservation and calculate points, mark the guest membership type(s) and select Calculate. You may also use the Memberships screen to create a new membership for the guest. When multiple membership types are associated with the reservation, the Member Type field on the Attach Memberships to Reservations screen has a yellow background.
Note: Centrally managed membership types cannot be selected and attached to the reservation from the Memberships screen when it is accessed from the Attach Memberships to Reservations screen. (Centrally managed membership types are those for which points are calculated and managed centrally at the ORS/OCIS level. The ORS/OCIS license code must be active.) When you attempt to attach a centrally managed membership type to the reservation, the following message appears: “Central managed memberships are not allowed.”
Member No. The associated member number will automatically default in this field.
Level. The associated member level will automatically default in this field.
Selecting the Calculate button confirms that the membership transaction was created and points calculated.
