Fax Setup

From IFC Monitor screen go to File>Configuration>Fax.

All pertinent fax setup information is configured in this screen.

Fax:

Write Format. Select either RTF or PCL The default setting is RTF.

Thread Count. This is the number of threads the interface will use to fax. You can enter one thread for each modem you have.

Fax Driver. Currently supported options for fax software are:

ZetaFax
Tobit FaxWare
Win Fax

Wait Timeout. Enter the maximum amount of waiting time in minutes to receive an acknowledgement from the fax server. The default setting is 2. The fax processor uses this to retry if the fax server is down.

The following fields do only need to be populated for Tobit FaxWare with the exception of From Name:

Fax Directory. Enter the directory required per your Tobit FaxWare instructions.

From Company. Enter the company of origin from where fax is sent.

From Fax. Enter the originating fax number.

From Name. Enter the name of the person who sent the fax. This applies only to ZetaFax.

From Phone. Enter the originating phone number.

To Company. Enter the receiving company’s name.

To Name. Enter the receiving recipient’s name.
