Description.   The night audit procedure hkpgk.update_room_status_proc will update all occupied rooms to the room status selected here. If  no status is selected then the room status of the occupied rooms will not be changed.

The Hierarchy for Housekeeping Statuses is based on the following active functions:


Assuming Inspected and Pick Up are active, hierarchy is Inspected, Pick Up, Clean, Dirty.


Assuming Inspected is active and Pick Up is inactive, hierarchy is Inspected, Clean, Dirty.


Assuming Inspected is inactive and Pick Up is active, hierarchy is Clean, Pick Up, Dirty.


Assuming Inspected and Pick Up are both inactive, hierarchy is Clean, Dirty.

The room’s status will only change should it be higher on the room status hierarchy based on the property’s active application rooms management functions.

Example:  Should the property have both the Inspected and Pickup functions active, the Housekeeping Room Status hierarchy begins at the top with Inspected, then Pickup, then Clean, and finally Dirty.  Should the room be in Inspected status and the Cancellation occurs, the room will be changed to Pickup if parameter value is Pickup.  If the room’s status was Dirty prior to the cancellation occurring, the room’s status would not change as Dirty is of a lower status than Pickup.
