Wildcard Characters and Access Keys

If you see a wildcard character in the text while translating please do not disturb its position; it needs to be restored in the translated message. Below are some examples for your reference.

Example 1: Suppose there is a button with the label as “&OK”. The & preceding O behaves as an access key (Hot Key) to click the button from the keyboard. So if you are translating this to Spanish as Si, then the message should be &Si.

Example 2: If another button on the same screen were to be translated with the same Hot Key (S in our example), the button will not operate as intended by using Alt+S. The user will need to manually click on the button.
